Resources: your family and friends

your class notes

teacher's collection of books and clippings

library's collection of books and clippings

Internet sites

(Remember that each entry in your collection should meet the five tests of folklore we discussed in class.)

Your collection may be written on paper and bound as a booklet; it may be written on 4x6 index cards and placed in a decorated box; it could even be a hyperstudio production! Use your imagination to create an interesting project format!

The project will be graded as follows:

Format: table of contents - 5 possible points

logical organization - 5 possible points

cover presentation - 5 possible points

Individual project entries: EVERY ENTRY IN YOUR PROJECT will be graded in three categories: content - 3 possible points
source sited - 1 point

(This means that EACH entry can earn a maximum of 6 points.)

Choose which entry choices you would like to complete, aiming for a perfect score of 100 or more points! Earn 90 - 100 points to earn an A

80 - 89 points to earn a B
