Discover and identify space as an element of art. | Define space in oral language and through visual examples.Have students identify space in the room and in the environment. Use creative physical movement to experience space in the room. (MI) Explore space with a variety of 3-D media. This might include: paper mache, clay, play doh, cardboard sculpture, and sponges or styrofoam to build with. Have the students identify the top, bottom, center, left, and right of their sculptures. |
