Identify texture as natural or man-made | Scavenger Hunt of different textures in art room, halls, or outside. (E, MI) Create rubbings of found man-made and natural objects in art room, halls, homes, or outside. (E, MI) Create prints from found objects, then combine them to form a scene or object. Look at various art prints and discuss the textures seen and felt within each art print, such as the way an artist created the look and feel of bark on a tree, or clouds in the sky, animals hair, etc. (E) Clay wall hanging -Printing plants into a clay slab tile to make a weed pocket. Discuss clay terms and its origin and about firing in kiln. (E,ID) |
