What You Need

 

á      Access to the Internet

á      Reference books containing information about the Lakota and other tribes of the Great Plains during the 1800s

 

What To Do

 

1.    Choose one aspect of Great Plains Indian life, such as customs, tools and weapons, food, or art to research.

2.    Decide on a way to gather your information, such as a graphic organizer or note cards.

3.    Prepare a report on your findings, including illustrations when possible. Or come up with a better way of presenting your information and check with your teacher to see if your way is acceptable.

4.    When handing in your final product, be sure to include your notes from your research!
