In this
activity, you are going to locate the Scituate Lighthouse in Massachusetts,
view pictures of the lighthouse, and read about the history of the lighthouse.
Then you will make a timeline of the LighthouseÕs life and draw pictures of the
lighthouse.

Click on the spot for Newburyport, Gloucester, Salem and Boston Area
Lighthouses to see the location of Scituate Lighthouse in Massachusetts.

Then click on the word Scituate and you will see a picture of the lighthouse and
the keeperÕs house.

the lighthouse throughout the years.

5. On the back of your picture, answer the following question: Does the real lighthouse look the way you imagined it would look from the description in the book? Explain your answer.
